The cat is not known to suffer heart problems. Not talking about falling in love with that cat who does not want but of diseases that may affect your health. Like everything in life cat heart disease so mild symptoms in its early stages that are easy to confuse. They wait until the problem is big to let us know that is not working properly.

It is important to know that any cat of any race (although they are more common in the Maine Coon and Ragdolls) and age can suffer heart. The symptoms are nonspecific and easily confused with other diseases. These include; • trouble breathing • Fast breathing or decreased; • weakness • Lethargy; • Loss of appetite • Fainting

Diagnosis To diagnose any disease of the veterinarian will perform certain tests to pussycat, including blood pressure, electrocardiogram and X-rays

Cardiomyopathy, the most common heart disease in cats.

• Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy: The thick walls of the heart causing the heart to become lose elasticity and can not pump blood. The biggest cause of sudden death in domesticated cats. Treatment: Cats with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy require medicines that relax the heart and increase their efficiency as diuretics and beta blockers. To help with clots, aspirin is prescribed. Many are the same drugs that would take a human, but all must be prescribed by the veterinarian and used following his instructions to the letter.

Changing their gambling habits also helps in treatment. The cat needs calm and relaxed. Avoid racing and extreme jumps.

• dilated cardiomyopathy: The opposite side of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. This condition causes the heart muscles flabby and from becoming the heart chamber expands. The main cause for this condition is taurine deficiency organic acid found in animal tissue and aids in the formation of bile.

Treatment: To prevent development of the disease, most companies include taurine cat food as an ingredient in food. But it is not included in the dog food. One more reason not to give your cat dog food. You can cause harm.

The cat survives the first week of treatment has a greater chance to recover. But it takes up to 6 months to get the heart back to normal.
